An option for LED DRLs

I like the origonal XK8 chrome strake and have been thinking of installing some LED DRLs under it, though it would look better in the strake (like on an earlier XF).

The nearest picture I can find is this one (they also double up as indicators). has anyone else done this and if so pictures would be appreciated.

Here's the image for those who prefer not to open Word documents from unverified sources ;)

IMHO, they don't work, especially as one side is wonky and therefore looks even more aftermarket...

There was this thread a while ago with something similar:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...project-82601/

They weren't used as indicators but it is a similar idea.

I seem to remember being asked this, but do you think I can find the email/pm/thread :icon_shrug:

Wanting a straker to play with?

Personally I will mill a slot out of the front of the straker and fit a LED string, or, drill a line of 6mm holes with 10mm cantres, this is roughly what the LED strings are and push each LED through the hole....

Not too difficult to do

Thanks for this, if you have a spare staker then I would be interested.

Thanks

I was not aware there were any differances.

As my car is a 99 my cabrio I supposed I need one that matches that.
