Parts bin listing for my car
Yesterday, after attending a meeting with my local Jaguar owners club a member questioned the year of my car saying the wheels looked to be from 2002 but my car is a 2000 at least that's what the registration says. Since Jaguar as a reputation for using parts that are on the shelf and often mix and match them, is there a way to contact Jaguar to find out what parts were actually pulled to assemble my 2000 XKR convertible? The info has to be here somewhere but I haven't been able to locate it. I also heard at the meeting that the XKR has a different engine than the XK8 other than the supercharger and my have the upgraded cam chain tensioner. I'd love to know exactly what I have so please give me some help if you know.

try the VIN checker that will tell you https://www.vindecoderz.com/EN/Jaguar. A Jag dealer should be able to provide info as well from your VIN
As for rims - the previous owner could have swapped out as the Revolver and Lamina rims on the early XK8/R's were not the best looking rims
There are several posts in this forum of members with 2000 MY XKR's that had to have the tensioners replaced. If you don't have record of newer generation tensioners, the easiest way to find out is check!!

For the wheels, post a picture to identify the model (Jaguar wheels have names). Then some of us can help. There is likely documentation on jagrepair.com, especially the model year change docs.
Best of luck, keep us posted.
PS: Seriously, check the tensioners!

there is a wheel fitment guide in the DIY section and for the 2000-2002 XKR, they list the Double-fives but as fmertz suggests - post a pic of the rims for best advice
However - I went back and looked at the pic you posted in the Wow us with your XK8/R pics" You have the Double-fives which were standard fitment for the 2000XKR
