please wait message on radio?.
 

I have a please wait message on the radio when i switch it on that just keeps me waiting, sat nav says press enter but won't open. Any ideas. p.s the aerial no longer raises, just makes a clicking noise.

Have you input an incorrect unlock code several times?

It might just be the cable inside the antenna. Their plastic with a serrated edge and they can break. That might be the clicking you hear. I've never experienced it on a Jag, but have on a Volvo. You can buy a replacement antenna and cable for around $15.

Thanks i had put the wrong code in and had to leave it on for an hour.
