Default P1647 on drive today

after months of error free driving, got a P1647 ECM HO2S control malfunction – B bank, upstream. Possible causes: HO2S heater failure; HO2S sensing circuit short circuit to ground or high voltage; HO2S sensing circuit open circuit; ECM failure. No other codes, car drove fine with no issues other than CEL. Assuming these are still the original HO2 sensors as I have had the Mistress 12 years and yet to replace these, began the search and damn these are expensive - prices from $175 ea up to $435 - guess I will be spending some money in the near future

I usually get the DENSO 2349016 as replacements.

I think I bought A few spares years ago because I have five X100/X308 Jaguars and knew I would be needing them.(they were cheaper then)

I think $160-175 is a good price.

yeah Denso is the one is was leaning toward - Bosch were about $190 and while there was an off market brand (Ultra-Power) with the same part number as Denso for $85, not sure I want to go with cheaper after issues with cheap coils and fuel injectors resulted in much sooner replacement

Stick with a genuine Denso sensor. You will be glad you did....
