Put top up, door windows stal down
 

Hi, On my 1998 XK8 I disconnected the battery to remove the Air Bag and Steering Wheel for refinishing. (it turned out great!)
My problem is now when I have the Top down and go to put it back up, the rear windows go up but the front door windows don't and I don't get the chime to tell me the operation is complete.
Other then that the door windows work correctly from the window switches.
Not a big issue, but it was nice to have them go up from the key in the drivers door when parking and locking the car.
Any suggestions?

Have you tried resetting your windows?

Lower the windows and hold the window switches down until you hear a soft click, then raise the windows and hold the window switches up until you hear a soft click.

There's an item in the HOW TOs on what to do after a battery disconnect.
