Quick tensioner check question

So ive checked tensioners on XJ models, but now I have an XKR, do I need to remove the supercharger to get the covers off ? Just want to check them at this point since its a 2000 model.

Whats the turn around time ? I can do the XJ's in like 90 minutes both sides. Looks like the rear cover bolts might me a little tighter.

TIA

Valve covers can be removed without interference from the SC. Don't know about tighter but some 1/4" extensions/flex/universal tools help.

When using those universal flex joint socket drives, it helps to wrap the joint with electrical tape to prevent it from flopping around and going 90 degrees on ya. They don't work too good at angles greater than 45 degrees. Top tensioners are pretty easy if you don't drop anything in the crankcase, hahaha. Cordless drill makes it quicker to get those coil covers out and the coils too. When doing the valve cover bolt holding the oil dipstick, some have chopped the stud shorter to get the ring mount to clear the stud. I slotted my ring.
