Radio static on AM
 

Hello all,
I listen to AM radio a lot.
There is a lot of static that seems to be related to how smooth the road is. Going over a mildly rough road, there is a lot of noise, like some connection is loose or something. The static stops when the road is very smooth or I am stopped.
Any ideas on what could be loose?

Sounds like a possible poor connection in the antenna, antenna lead in, or antenna shielding circuitry.
