Default Rear rim rubbing on bump stop bolts!!

I have a 2000 XK8 Coupe. Last week I was having a little fun and took a highway ramp at full throttle, the ties are factory recommended size and the car was stuck like glue, could not break it loose. Had the car on the hoist later in the week and a lot of the rim inside bead was gone! The g force was enough to force the body over that the rim hit the bump stop mounting bolts.

Scarry, had I done another corner like that, the rim would have come apart. The rear suspension is in good shape and nothing was loose. Just a heads up if you drive aggressively to keep an eye on the rim for wear. I may try and get 1/4 inch spacers made to relocate the rim out, used to do this on my race cars.

Have you checked your ride height? It should be around 15 1/2" from center of wheel to top of fender arch. If not you may have spring/shock issues.. There are some thread with the official heights listed but that's ball park,
