Default Rear window not closing fully on XKR 2000 convertible

After just having new leather seat covers fitted on car I noticed the passenger side rear window leaves a bit of a gap when fully closed. I'm convinced it wasn't like that before having my seats and that they messed something up when opening the roof but it's probably coincidental.

Anyway after closing the windows I have to just lift the window up to make it fully closed and was wondering if there's a simple adjustment that can be done.

I'm hoping it's not going to be the regulator as I'll have to take it to my Jag dealer who said they'll have to pull someone out of returement to take a look.

Replies and experiences in this fault will be gratefully appreciated.

Kind Regards

Rocky15

Had the similar sounding problem with my XK8 convertible. Turned out it was the regulator. Had it fixed at an auto glass shop (new regulator).

There are several possible causes. Read this entire thread: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ed-help-56100/
