Red Battery Cable and How do you replace the high-beam bulb
I have a high beam bulb *main beam* on the driver side. I see the wire block, and I've replaced the dipped-beam bulb before, but this one's a bee--itch. I can't seem to budge it. The top access panel seems to be for the turn signal bulb or the parking light. What gives?
Any help would be appreciated On a side not I would like to replace the positve cable lead with something that bolts down better on the battery post than that OEM cable. Does anyone have a replacement that they've tried, The convertible cable looks better but I think it's too short? 2000 XKR Coupe. |
Ok, my Icon didn't look very good. But come on guys, no one has changed out a high beam bulb before on a 2000 XKR ?

The main beam headlamp is accessed thru the cover. The trick is to rotate it a 1/4 turn counterclockwise to release it.

I have the same cable, Apparently mine is damaged. Or my interstate battery has a slight pole difference. I ordered another cable just in case since my original is showing it's age.
