Well I waited until I searched my owner's manual to no avail.

I am wanting to know how to reset the Average Fuel economy. The manual states that its reset when the memory is reset but does not tell how to do that. I believe I figured it out on my 3 hour trip on the way home after I purchased it but have since forgotten....Please Help! Its an '03 XK8 convertible.

Thought I did that but I guess I didn't hold the button long enough. I know I inadvertantly did it in the past.....

Make sure you change it to display one of the stored settings by pressing the button on the turn signal stalk first. Otherwise it will not reset. That is step 1 in Graham's attachment, but it confused me the first time. (but then I'm easily confused most days.)

Repeat process if you want to reset the B side, changing first of course to the B side settings.
