Severe electronic problem

I have a 97XK8 with 57000 miles. Yesterday after a nice ride I couldn´t switch off the engine. I took out the key but the engine and all the intruments remained on. How can I switch the engine off? And what can be the problem? Thanks in advance

you might have a ignition switchand barrel problem.. i wud pull a ignition relay out then disconnect the battery..
