Time Capsule 1999 XK8

I found this and wanted to share. It is a '99 convertible with only 12,000 miles.

Here is another one:

2003 4.2 with just 17k miles

The '99 would cost another $3K-$5K, nearly straight away if someone who wasn't mechanically inclined purchased it and intended to drive it. For someone mechanically inclined, only about $1,500.

Both should go to Barrett Jackson, because they will get close to those prices (especially the Phoenix Red '99) from guilty drunks buying "something for the wife".

The 99 is a very pretty car although for me those wheels would have to go...

Ungn is right, though - it's going to need all the things replacing that any 20 year old car would. Plus the known killers that almost certainly won't have been addressed with only 12K miles.

Make a great sister for my coupé, but not at $21K. Maybe around half that as-is (they are creeping up this side of the pond)

They are slowing creeping up here too. That is minty, original, low mileage examples.

Seems a tad optimistic to me.
