Anybody know of a nationwide shop or one in Vero Beach, fl, Orlando or Bimingham, AL that can do the flush.

Looking for a complete flush, not changing filter and refilling and leaving old fluid in the TC.

 

Why are you specifically looking for a flush? I had my fluid changed today, and the (very competent) automatic transmissions engineer told me he doesn't do a flush on these boxes (ZF 5HP, 6HP), since it risks damaging some old gaskets and seals, breaking some things loose. The older the gearbox is, the worse a flush would be.

 

I agree, general wisdom is to avoid a flush on these older transmissions, as it may disturb long settiled particulates. Do a drain and fill. Then if you do a second drain and fill in 6 mos. to a year, you will have replaced the vast majority of fluid.

 

Try ALLJAGS in Orlando. Reasonable, competent service using correct fluid or Mobile1 ATF (provided by you should you desire).
