using search funtion
 

How do I search the xk8 database to see all the threads/posts on "gas smell"?:icon_doh:

click search
click advanced search
type (with quotes) "gas smell"
under Search in Forum scroll down and click on XK8 & XKR
click search now

All search words must be at least 4 letters, so 'gas' will not work. :icon_doh:
I know, the search here is pretty crappy.

Go to google and click "advanced search". Down near the bottom it will say "Search within a site or domain:" enter "jaguarforums.com" in that field. Then enter "gas smell" up where it says "this exact wording or phrase:"

Google can search for 3 letter words, but the jag forum's search engine cannot.
