Hello, my 2001 XKR is in need of all new rubber bushings. Upper, lower front and rear, the full deal.
I am not able to do such a job myself.
I live in phoenix Arizona and it seems there are not any qualified mechanics around this area that have the know how either. Many say oh yah, no problem, but they have never done it on a Jaguar XKR?
I want someone that has atually done the job several times before, so they know what they are in for and can do the job start to finish without hesitation and looking at instructions every 3 or 4 minutes. (You know what I mean!).
I would be willing to travel a bit for someone that knows what this job takes.(not across USA, Puerto Rico or Hawaii, maybe Southern Calif., Las Vegas, Colorado maybe even texas (west end).) Would not care if it was a actual forum member or a forum members recommendation for a qualified Jaguar mechanic, someone in the know.
I would supply the bushing kit and parts as directed and needed prior to job. Of course I would like a fair and reasonable cost to do the job and know the charge prior to start.
Anyone want to make some extra money or know a qualified mechanic (would you let them work on your car?)

If Los Angeles is a possibility, my mechanic who works on all of my cars including both of my XKRs (2002, 2010) and my XJ8 Sport, has done all of the bushings on my 2002 and is replacing some on my 2010 as we "speak." But it's here in the San Fernando Valley. Very reliable, very honest and is a racer, so he knows cars and suspensions very well.
