Reading through this old thread refreshed my memory.

It's the same design so a thin blade in the slot shown in your first photo will pop it apart.

BEWARE - Jaguar plastic is a unique material. Costs more than its weight in gold and breaks if you just look at it the wrong way!

Thanks for the info! I am afraid that 20 yr old plastic will not take kindly to being rudely disturbed with a metal pry tool... I won't be surprised if I end up ordering a new one.

 

It's not as expensive as I was expecting. Jaguar Classic in the UK list it at UKP 17.26 ($25).
