X100 XKR Supercharger Belt Part# (upgraded)
Hi, Team.
Apologies if this information is on the forum in a super obvious place (I am utter sh*t at searching...) but I am chasing part numbers for a double-sided micro-v belt for my 2000 XKR.
The pulleys have been upgraded along with an 8-ribbed double sided belt. I have no idea how old the current belt is, but the index mark oil the tensioner is well off the 'maximum stretch' mark.
The previous owner installed a 10% (2.5psi) supercharger snout pulley. This may partially explain the index mark issue above. Perhaps made worse by the smaller snout pulley?
I have the infamous cold-start belly chirp.
Looking for part numbers for the (upgraded) supercharger belt from any of the following suppliers:
1. Jaguar OEM
2. Gates
3. Dayco
4. ContiTech
Thanking you in advance, Oh Wise Ones.
Gazza.
BRG. The only sensible colour...
Nice ***.

I fitted the Gator belt. Very happy with it. When I had the Supercharger replaced with a smaller one they did not change the belt. The tensioner took up the slack.
Take a look at the work, there should be lots of photos but photobucket blocked some. If you do NOT see photos please let me know and I will put them up on here. Thanks https://www.jaguarforum.com/showthre...l=1#post961991

Hey, Frank.
Nice work.
Man, you guys have a hard time with corrosion over there! In New Zealand we have a temperate climate, snows lightly once every year or two for a day or two but doesn't settle for more than a day or two so we don't have the nasty corrosive salt/chems on our roads.
Gaz.
Bump: I'm looking at the Dayco PDK81327 belt. Alone else installed this on the upgraded pulley system?

...another quick question: Can anyone give me the outside diameter of the original supercharger snout pulley?
I want to calculate the difference between this and the smaller 2.5psi pulley now installed so that I can work out how much shorter the new belt has to be to allow for the smaller pulley.
Cheers, Gazza.

Thanks for the compliment. I live in a moderate part of the country. Its just the previous owner of my car did not, or did not know how to, look after it. I took it on as a project and, so far, enjoyed doing it.
One last point. Before you buy your new belt look at the reviews of the gator belt. Different materials and design to normal belts. Should last much longer and less prone to slippage etc.
