Can't say for sure on the end result. But I would think that if your seat bolsters are cracked and worn they will still show. They will just match the rest of the seats when dyed. As with most leather the hide has a certain texture. After years of use the texture will become worn and sometimes slick. You will never be able to get the texture back. But it all depends on what you are looking for.

Old shoes look great when polished, but they are still old shoes!

Try these people (in the uk): www.furnitureclinic.co.uk. I used their products to respray cream leather furniture; the set consists (if I remember) of two types of cleaning fluid, dye, and leather finishing solution. It covers scuffs (which you can sand down to make the overall effect smooth) and I think they supply crack filler, though I didn't need that.

Results were fantastic: the colour is dense and it looked like new, and turned out to be as tough as the original. I am about to buy their Cranberry and Black (they do Jaguar colours) though I am not sure at this point how to spray the black and to retain the red stitching. Hope this helps!
