Personally, I think its an ambitious project, but the removal of the buttons really kill it for me. Unless, you find a better 'filler' in their absence.

I still think the best route is to 'hack' the OEM screen and use a 3rd party module, leaving the buttons there. Only the owner will know they don't really work.

I agree with h20boy. Also would like to see the USB port as regular "A" port so you can download updates to a thumb drive and load into the nav directly.
