Both of those codes are CANetwork failure codes. The JTIS code list say Instrument Module or Engine Control Module. Anything else going on with the car? All sorts of things can cause a CAN failure. How is the battery? A failing battery can cause many strange issues.
After a load test on the battery I might try a hard reset of the electronics by removing the negative cable from the battery and touching it to the positive post for a couple seconds. That drains all the capacitive voltage out of the many systems and causes everything to reboot. Sorta like 'restart' on your PC.
