Hi, long time no hear...got a question.
Do you know where I can buy quality gaskets for my windshield and rear window? I had two sets of gaskets from URO and they were both garbage, too big compared to the original ones. Other members on Jaguar Forums had the same problem.

Hey Donna, first a high mileage V-12 is well over 300.000 miles IF and only IF its well looked after. You can go a lot more too! 500.000 kilometers is not unheard of the trouble is as always taking proper care of them.

I still envy you for only having ONE to take care of btw.

Just a secret but the engine swapping type of ignorance is exactly what drove me from this site. I thought it would be a forum of Jaguar lovers but instead I found a forum of Jaguar "liker's" and "appreciators"
and a whole bunch of red neck's who really don't care about what engine it is and a lot of others who spread silly rumours about Jags having Ford engines and using even sillier logic as "evidence" to their claims.

Hey, I wanna kick some guy's ass, he's on here asking about the chevy conversion for his Jag, the guy should go and buy a chevy and forget about messing up a perfectly good jag.
I think it is just stupid that anyone would put a chevy engine in an XJS.......and nobody tells them that their car is virtually worthless after a conversion.
Not much happening, just looking for work, I can afford to be picky cuz it's an employees market and we got the employers by the short and curlies....lmao~!~!

Wondering where you've been. I have not been on this site for quite some time.
I am a moderator on two other Jag websites and I have been elected into the job of secretary for the Ontario Jaguar owners club (OJOA.org) , they even put a nice picture of me on the website executive page! So all that plus having to make a living means I have to choose my time spent wisely and otherwisely.
I know the deal with old cars (NOT just with Jag's) I have five old cars and every one of them needs something at any given time. Just rememebr your XJS is over 20 years old and hey, a few bushings here and there are nothing! Keep that old cat on the road it's worth it! In some ways you are lucky to have one to dedicate your time to.

I think I told you my feelings on Harley's but I still miss my Panhead...almost every day.
So happy Jaguaring, there I made up a word for you. No clue on the video deal tho!

Hi Duane, damn I'm not too good at getting back to my buddies on Jag forum, I should have my ass kicked, I have been on a motorcycle forum alot, then I subscribe to several other car forums along with another bike forum. So I will spend more time here cuz I miss my Jag buddies, didn't get a bike yet, my cat keeps emptying my pockets, maybe later this summer or fall, but maybe next summer, but til then I am going to really enjoy my car, always do....lol.
Christmas was good here too, but it get so damn cold here in Edmonton that I just hibernate til it gets warm enough to allow an sane person outdoors. Finally summer is creeping up on us, just glad the freakin snow is gone.
I have been slowly but surely restoring part by part on my Jag, lately it's been bushings, the damn sway bar bushings needed replacing cuz the oil leaking on them ATE them ha ha, shit, it I didn't need to replace something on my car I would think I was having a nightmare or something~!~HA
