when the car is at WOT, the supercharger will either screech as soon as I punch it or the screech will come in a few seconds after ive been flooring it but either way, it screeches whenever at WOT, my guess its the belt slipping but is it since there are no cracks on it?

What is WOT?

 

WOT = Wide Open Throttle. As to the screeching, a slipping belt would be my guess also. I would check the condition of the belt and tension first. Perhaps some STR owners or techs could provide some further insight.

Yeah it sounds like belt slippage.. You probably need either a new belt, new tensioner, or both.. They have spray cans of something called "belt conditioner" that supposedly stops slipping and tightens up the belt. This might provide a temporary solution, but it won't last long. If anything it will at least confirm that it is only a belt and nothing more serious. A couple STR owners have toasted the bearing on their supercharger, I hope that's not happening to yours.
