Takes a long extension. No, you don't have to pull the gearbox.

Best bet would be to aquire the JTIS repair manual on CD Rom. We have them for $125.

$$125 !!! not to rain on your parade ken, but I remember getting my JTIS manual for about $30 - from some british website, something like "electronicmanuals.co.uk", or close to it. Rather than waiting for the cd rom, you can just download some huge disc image file (1GB plus) after you've paid for it, and then mount it and voila.
