Default Year specific production numbers

Hi,
Does anybody know where to find specific production numbers for the XJ12? I've found total numbers for MY 95-96, but I'm looking for specific breakdowns for each year and what came to the U.S.
Also has anyone pulled a Monroney sheet for heir XJ?

Are you sure you're seeing MY info?

In that era Jaguar always quoted *calendar year* production numbers. I've never seen model year breakdowns. No doubt Jaguar has the info but it would be a complex report because of the various country-to-country differences in model year designations.

A car built in (let's say) the autumn of 1995 might have been designated '1996 model year' for the USA market (and perhaps others) but '1995 model year for UK (and perhaps other) markets.

but I'm looking for specific breakdowns for each year and what came to the U.S.

I've not seen breakdowns for the USA market specifically. Others will chime in.

Cheers
DD

Thx, I forgot about how the Europeans designate model years. I'm really just trying to find out how many 1995 XJ12 were produced and how many came to the U.S. Production 1996 should differ as they were different in longer wheelbase and rear seat heaters, specific only to that year......right??

Go to post #3 in this thread...where you find a chart of x300 production

As for wheelbase....I'm sure all the V12s for *the USA market* were LWB for the (USA market) 1996 model year. Not sure about other markets

Cheers

It's puzzling trying to track down numbers on these models. When you call Jaguar heritage you get different numbers for 96 XJ12's. They indicated 249 1996 XJ12's and 180ish imported to USA. But no matter, Doug's information is what I would go by as it shows multiple years, they are rare none the less.
