So I am the proud owner of a 1960 XK150 which I believe to be "numbers matching." However, I have been asked by a prospective buyer to verify that the numbers on the engine, body and gearbox actually do match the ones on the Jaguar Heritage Certificate and the emblem in the car itself.

Help! How do I figure out where these numbers are located? Will I be able to find them by looking under the hood, or will we have to lift the car to see them? Perhaps you can tell but I'm not exactly a mechanic
