It looks like that wood grain has to come off to reveal the screws holding in your head unit. Not sure on your car, but some just need to be gently pryed with a screw driver. You might want to wrap the tip of the screw driver with a rag or something.

Did you find a kit for that - it doesnt look like a very common fit though?

Take off the trim covering the center console arm rest latch. Then take out the ashtray assembly. There are 2 white plastic wings nuts holding the back of the wood trim down, take these off. With a small standard screw driver slip it between the shifter trim and the leather cover surrounding it. There are 4 clips if not broken that hold the leather cover down, by gently prying between the 2 pices youll release them, theyre on the sides maybe 1/2" down or less from each corner, its an aquired touch, but you stand a better chance of doing it successfully unless you take to someone that knows already how to take it apart. Many stereo guys will end up breaking and at that age, theyll be more likely to break even knowing how to do it. Anyway after you remove this, lift up on the back by the studs the wing nuts were on and lift the back up and the top pivots down and out, then youll see the screws that hold the radio ac stack in. Ive ommited couple steps like disc. Connectors but you should be able to see this and do it
