Hi all

My name is Lachlan Story and I live in Victoria. I am a wood cutter by profession and have had a love affair with Jaguars since I was a kid. I currently own a 95 XJR, a 1956 Mk1 race car and a 1959 Mk 1 I have always had a passion for Mk1s abd would have one over a Mk2 any day. I drove my first XJR in 1995 and have wanted one ever since. Now that I have one it is every bit as wonderful as I remembered I have been a member of the Jaguar Car Club of Victora since 1980 and served 12 years on the committee, two of them as President. I write regular articles forThe Jaguar Magazine.one of the best Jag mags in the world.

Welcome to the forum Lockie, Only raced 1 Jag a XK150 for Peter Breezie at Jaguar Car Club Nationals in WA 1997 I think it was. Also did a little engine work on his SS100. Very Happy with my S-type as daily commuter.

The only classic Jaguar experience I have had is driving a Mark X and sitting in a genuine D Type recently. Both great experiences!
