Well lunch really, more than a run

How about a get together at The Independent , Saturday Nov 5th for lunch.

Just meet up at the place for lunch and perhaps plan the seaside run that Sofie suggested. Getting late in the year now , so perhaps a run at the end of summer once the tinny lids are back at school?

Anyway , a show of hands please. Who is interested in the date/venue?

Great Idea, Sofie and I are in as well.

As for the Summer run, the idea we are proposing is to meet up in Portsea, for all of us in the east then ferry to Queenscliff to Meet up with Drivers closer to that side of town.
From Queenscliff, a nice run to Apollo bay or lorne for lunch and some seaside Jag Photos. Sorry about the delay in floating the idea as we had mentioned it on previous runs for October .

 

No probs Mike, we were going to do a pre run run also, but got too busy.

Sounds like a plan, we would probably stay down there overnight and come back next day.

Kids are back at school beginning of Feb BTW

We'll be in for the summer seaside run. Depends on enough notice of a date as I work away and need to plan to be home for the weekend.

Hows the Mini going? I have had all the cooling system and generator out of the Major, just back together today.

 

Sounds good, please keep an eye out on the forum for updates. We usually try and plan out at least a month or two. New faces always welcome, and we have an easy going group so its easy to mingle.

My kids have sport commitments around lunchtime on Saturday's so my wife can't make it, however I would like to make the trip on my own if that is OK with everyone.

Starting to look like we may have to book the place for a private function :-)

 

Booking has been made. With a largish group like this they asked that we take one of the set menus where they bring out a range of plates for people to try. We have done that before at this place and its been excellent. If people have specific things they cant eat or dont like they are flexible work around it as required.

Lets arrange to be there about 11:30 for a 12 noon start at the restaurant after the usual gas-bagging :-) This will get us started before the 12:30-1PM peak.
