Guess where I would rather live.
I am still not sure how the replies work since there are many icons to click on. For now i click on the quick reply but not sure if it just goes to the person I reply to or is a general reply to all. Could you help me out with this, or if there is a link for new members (how to respond)
Don't want to give up it is a good forum. Thanks

Yes it is overwhelming at first. Remember that everything you post is visible to everyone on the internet, actual member of the forum or not. This means it's best not to post personal info such as phone numbers, addresses etc.

If you are replying to a particular post, it's usually best to click the 'quote' button seen in the lower right corner of that person's post. This avoids confusion as to who is talking to who. I think you've already got the hang of that part

It is great. I am from Toronto, and I am addicted to cars since I rented one on https://iversta.com/. So, I'm glad to be there, I am pleasant about this new section.

Default New XE R-Sport owner in Calgary

Greetings. Our 2017 XE R-Sport is arriving in the next week or so. Thought I'd stop in and say Hi and also look for 18" wheels for Winter use.

Hi everyone.

Just got my hands on a '99 XJ8 VDP. I live in Frankville, NS. My road trips to Halifax are an absolute pleasure now. I'm looking for any excuse to go for a drive. Bring on the sunny weather!

Hi everyone,

Just became a member. Bought my Jaguar XE 3.5T AWD R-Sport in December '16 and absolutely love it. Shout out to all my fellow Canadians.

Just realised that there was a Canadian section. I'm in St. John's , Newfoundland ( just east of Canada ) Jags are pretty thin on the ground around here. I figure another few weeks until they start spreading salt and brine on the roads and "the baby" as my wife calls it will get stored for the winter.

Hi All, just bought a jag. 1998 XK8 with 180000km. She needs some tlc, looking for odds and ends, interior pieces (cup holder/arm rest) is there a decent scrap yard around Ontario that deals in parts? My paint is a mess, every flat surface is sun baked.... I need to do the general maintenance this winter - oil change, plugs, coil packs, air breather mod, clean MAF. The transmission is a sealed unit? Specifically looking for the plastic piece that houses the rear License Plate lights. Mine has been removed........

Hi Flipr78
You can try contacting
- Leatherique at leatheriquecanada@computan.on.ca,he is really good, honest person
- Birkshire, Jag specialist in Thornhill, Green Lane. They are not cheap, they charge 50% of new price for used parts.
- Good body shop is Fix Auto Body Shop 416 298 3338, ask for Rob and tell him you are referred by Marc from ATC
Where are you located in

Hi fellow Canucks, Just joined the clan with a 2017 F-Type V6 S. coming over from the dark (Porsche) side. If anyone is in the SW Ont area, I am hoping to set up some Sunday Meet/Greet and Drive events. We enjoyed them with the Porsche drivers in the area so I am hoping we can start some Jaguar ones. I have been speaking to the local dealer to try and get them involved as well. Message me if you have an interest.

Cheers

Default Drive Events

Another way to do participate in events is joining the Ontario Jaguar Owners Association OJOA. They organize a monthly meeting and several events during the spring, summer and fall season. You can contact me for further information.
Cheers

Thanks, the rep at my dealer is a member and is getting me the info, he advised me they are trying to do more events across the province rather than just the GTA. Enjoy your day

What's the contact info for the Ontario group ? I'm in Nfld but will probably be driving to visit friends in Toronto and Peterborough this summer. It would be great to have a number or email to use if I run into any car trouble

Hi and thanks for taking the initiative for organizing a meet and greet.

As a suggestion to get maximum visibility, it's always best to start a whole new post on a subjec trather than tagging it onto an old and oft forgotten one.

Thank you for that suggestion. When the war weather hits I will try that, would you suggest under I do that under the regional heading?

Sorry for the delay in replying.

Yes, a new post under the Regional heading will gather the most attention.
