Whew... Finally. Here are some pics of my grandmas Cadillac Deville that I washed-waxed over the weekend. It really is a beautiful car.

Nice Caddy. To have the pix show up, you need a host, such as Photobucket and use the ADD IMAGE icon above. They were attached to your first post, but we have to open them individually. To change the size, you need a PhotoShop type softwear or a photo host will sometimes have that ability in it.

So I'm planning to detail the Jag for the first time this season in the upcoming week. Rest of this week is raining and next week is all sunny. So it should be perfect. In mean time, I did this. It's not a Jag but I hope you like it.

They have been hanging there for at least 5 years now. I almost forgot about them till you just brought them up. lol So far so good. The hooks are sturdy. And if the Bikes were to fall straight down, there is enough room for them to fall without hitting any cars. Now if they start swinging around...that's a different story.

i love your HRE's btw.

3.5 hr of detailing on Sat. I have Poppeye arms right now. I bought a buffer but was afraid to use it . I have a new , soft pads but was wondering if besides swirl marks it would do a good job as rotary buffer can't go over like a hand can on the curves. What say U?

Oh.. if you guys have some serious appreciation of time then click my 7 hrs of detailing on my 2 cars with 1 hr lunch break. Was great therapy. One vehicle is a box with no lines and the other is the Jag. Go figure!

Be extremely careful using rotary buffers. There is 0 room for error or it will burn through the paint if you let it sit in one place too long. I'm scared to use those. I stick with a Porter Cable random orbital and that works fine for beginners. It will take out swirls without risking burning through ur paint.

For wax I just stick with my hand.

Is there a way to turn them off and on? Is that what the Hazard Cone button up by the map light is for?

sanand I love your car man.. that's probably the only Jag I would trade mine for short of the XFR.. I love the front end, it has the perfect blend of classy and aggressive. Nice work on the detailing, looks great.
