I was out cleaning up my engine compartment last night and was trying to clean off my intake manifold. It's too rough to wipe with a rag and taking a wire brush to it was not in the plans, atleast not last night. I started thinking about using a wire wheel on a drill or dremmel, then wondered what it would look like if I just polished it until it shines.

Has anyone done this, or do you think it would be too much. I've seen others with a stainless CAI, but an entire intake? Hmmm..

What's your opinion on this?
