67 E-Type won't idle at all
I am having trouble getting my 67 E-Type to idle. It will start fine when the choke is in the full on position, As it warms I move the choke lever down and it still runs. When it’s up to temp I move the choke to “run” and it just stalls out. I have reset the slow run screws 2 1/2 turns out and have set the mixing screws also. I have replaced the spark plugs (the old ones were totally black which indicates that it was running incredibly rich). I have rebuilt HD8’s on my Healey and it runs great. What I am asking is there anything else I should do. If not I will pull the carbs and rebuild them.
Thanks ahead of time for any advice.

Can someone watch the choke cable action while you are moving the control from inside the car? That person can see if the cable is operating smoothly and not binding through the bulkhead/firewall or on the carbs themselves.
