Hi Val.
If I remember correctly XK unlimited or Xks motorsports installed triple fuel injection in a Mk IX or MK X. They used Borla Injector bodies.

I don't know the details but I bet it cost a lot less than $14K

The video on that link is great. For me, my next $15k investment in my S2 is to replace the rear main seal and do everything that you do during that job. BUT, if I had an extra $15k laying around, I’d be tempted! Thanks for sharing!
I agree about the cost and won't be thinking about that for my E, but remember this system is a complete ECU mapping set up as well. If you look at the systems of fuel injection used by quite a few others on their E Types, and add up all the parts, you don't come to a great deal less!
Here's a note from someone doing what sounds like a much less expensive option, but it's still at least US$9000, and you need a lot of skills to do it:
"I just dug out my last invoice for all the Heritage bits and Emerald ECU bits, it was less that £5k, excluding the ITG sausage filter and backplate which would add another £300. That was about 6 months ago.
On that car I purchased a new Radtek fuel tank with HP pumps and it was another £500 all in.
I terminated my own wiring loom from the generic 6 cylinder one supplied, it is pretty easy to do. I quite like doing it now.
The kit had everything in it including-
Jenvey Dynamics Parts JAGUAR XK 6 KIT - TD45
BODIES - includes Manifold, Heritage throttle bodies,
Fuel Rail, injectors, Throttle position sensor
Jenvey Dynamics JAGUAR 4.2 RH Throttle Cable
Linkage Kit - CLJ-4.2RH
02-019 2-pin Mini Timer plug for injectors 6 3.40 20.40 S
02-045 3-way Econoseal Male Connector including pins 1 4.40 4.40 S
05-010 Wide Band Lambda Exhaust Boss - stainless steel
04-030 Webcon Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator silver
-6JIC fittings
02-016 Flying loom on ECU plug - inductive crank sensor 1 70.00 70.00 S
03-002 Ford 'Generation 2' 6 cylinder coilpack 1 45.00 45.00 S
02-018 Ford 'Generation 2' coil pack connector 6 cylinder
01-017 tr+ Emerald K6+ Engine Management System - JAGUAR
02-013 Magneti Marelli Crank Position Sensor (with plug) 1 31.40 31.40 S
Customised part - crank sensor bracket& bolts 1 35.50 35.50 S
05-010 Wide Band Lambda Exhaust Boss - stainless steel
Wideband Lambda Kit 1 135.00 135.00 S
02-002 Air Temperature Sender Unit (with Plug) 1 13.40 13.40 S
02-004 Water Temperature Sender Unit (with plug) 1 13.40 13.40 S
01-007 EasySync USB-Serial Port Adapter 1 19.50 19.50 S
I use a Sytek Rally throttle kit as it is quite robust and low lying for bonnet clearance."
Not for me I think!
