Default heater hose going from intake to firewall

series 1.5-dual stromebergs....the two heater hoses going from the intake manifold to the firewall look like they have a 5/8" end on one and a 1/2" on the other. The hoses I bought from moss is just a straight 1/2" i.d. hose. Seems odd that I have to stretch out the hose to fit on to the larger fitting? Does anyone know if someone sells a one piece hose that is 1/2" i.d on one end and 5/8" on the other?

I used a 5/8" hose and really tightened the smaller end and used sealant. I think that is what the manual recommends. Not elegant but it works.

The recent hose kit I bought had to my happy surprise the reduction in diameter in the hose. Xks unlimited.

be sure not to confuse the air line with the 2 water lines on the bulkhead. One of the waterlines connects to the pipe under the inlet manifold, the other to the manifold itself. And because you have the strombergs there is also a hose from manifold to the pre-manifold casting, which at the front of the engine connects back through yet another hose to the aforementioned pipe under the manifold.

Good luck
