Default R6239-9 engine available

I bought this 3.8 motor a few years ago as a spare but am unlikely to use it anytime soon and I'm moving to the UK in a few weeks (from Ottawa, Canada.) Does anyone have the car this belongs to? It was rebuilt by a shop in Toronto in the 80's, shop went out of business and I bought it from someone who bought 2 containers of parts at auction. I took it apart to check and can confirm new pistons/rings, new .010 bearings and ground crank, skimmed head and possibly new valves. Everything is there except the oil pan, carbs/manifolds. The flywheel and clutch are there too but are used and don't look reconditioned. If anyone is interested, call me before Thursday 3rd. I also have a '61 Mk2 motor in pieces. Derek 613 8696007

Someone asked about the casting date of the block. It is 1-3-62. head and block numbers match.

I've put some photo here:

Someone asked about shipping and price. I can ship from Ogdensburg, NY with UPS and am looking for offers over $2500. I have the smooth valve covers too (need to take a photo of them)

I can part out if you only want some of the engine let me know as two people have made offers on just block and heads. I can always use the crank, rods, pistons as spares.
