Default Strombergs.

ive got an XJS. details in the sig. doesnt hardly run. the EFI is causing me an otherworldly kind of headache. been working on it day and night since 03/16/12.

i found a full set of series 3 XKE manifolds on the interweb for $70 bucks that im thinking about picking up, but i cant find any side drafts to go with it.

thought maybe any E type guys whove upgraded and gone EFI or aftermarket might be willing to sell them.

or maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

Here's a wild suggestion - instead of Strombergs - Mikuni carbs:
Performance Parts - Vintage Performance Developments
These guys sound like they know their stuff.

How's about really wild, and add 6 Webers, as in Countach?

Webcon.co.uk might be able to help, although I can't imagine it would be cheap.

They do list Jaguar XJ 5.3 V12 conversions.

I like the Weber idea. May not be ideal in these times of high fuel prices but it would be fun. A Countach used to be good for about 10mpg(imp) about the same as a Mk 10 Jag (at reasonable cruising speed).
