I’m getting ready to have my 96 XJS in HFB green repainted. This is a daily driver, not a show car. It gets parked outside everyday since I don’t have a garage.

Any recommendation for a paint or clearcoat that can stand the outdoor environments better than others?

Even if i think you already found what you needed, on my side, i've tried quite a few coatings, some are good, some others not so much. The last one I decided to try in IGL coatings Kenzo and appart from the amazing look it gives to the car, it also provides good protection and makes it so much easier to clean.

 

No, I got sucked in to trying to chase down some high LTFT on the engine. Wanted to make sure I had that resolved before I sent it in for repaint. I think I'm there now though, so this is timely.
