I can't imagine needing more power in the R coupe. It's already a beast.

About how much is that package? Did you put some miles on before sending it out? How long will it take? Looking forward to hearing the results. Keep us posted.

Probably about the same as ECU is charging, plus 3k for the warranty and another 3k to glue a Hennessy badge on the back lol. Yeah I already have almost 5k miles on it. They said a few weeks depending on how busy they are.

Hope all works out. I read about all their problems a few years ago but I guess they've resolved them?

What you're getting is a simple ECM remap and pulley upgrade. No different than any other turner charging $600 to $2,000. IMO Eurocharged offers the best deal and have much more experience with the Jaguar 5L SC engine and TCM and they have a special on now for $600.

Any idea what the other options cost?

Hennessey's website says:

Stay tuned for more upgrade information for the Jaguar 5.0L V8 550HP Motor. Including: high flow air induction systems, engine management tuning upgrades, high-flow intercooler systems, exhaust system upgrades, Brembo brake upgrades, suspension upgrades and wheel and tire upgrades.

I'd also be interested in the air induction and exhaust upgrades, and I'm curious about the wheel and tire upgrades (because the R already has really nice wheels and tires).

They better do a good job for you because if you come back here and say the engine management tuning upgrade didn't do anything then I don't think anyone else is getting one.

Here's the performance gains Eurocharged claims. Let's see how Hennessey does.

Thank you for reading the reciept I posted back to me.

$600 Special*

*plus labor.

Eurocharged says their 2/20,000 warranty is "the only factory-level warranty of its kind in the exotic tuning aftermarket." Hennessy's comes with 3/36000.
But hey I guess if everyone else is offering 3/36000 they are technically the only ones offering 2/20000.

Don't worry about the money for Hennessey. The F-Type isn't really a car a money-conscious person would buy and Hennessey's badge and rep are worth more than Euro's, e.g. because of Hennessey Venom GT - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Exactly. Thank you. We're not pinching pennies tuning a neon.

Yeah I read the same thing on their website. Sorry, no idea what the other options cost. I like the wheels and exhaust too much to risk changing either of those. Just staying simple and mild with any mods right now. I'll definitely post any info and stats they give me. If their tune is crap and I wasted my $$ it's just $$. I'll be the guinea pig.

Hope it goes well Philly. The money you spend can be replaced but I'd hate to see your engine damaged due to improper tuning.

Yeah the headache of dealing with having it replaced or any issues really are always a concern. It's just part of owning expensive toys though.

I wonder if they could put up videos of them tuning/dynoing your car like they do for some of their other clients

Edit: I'm guessing this will be more or less the results for your car since I think the two jags have basically the same engines.

hpedesign - YouTube
Since it's the first one they're doing I told 'em to feel free to make videos and stuff with it if they want.
