However, I do find this thread amusing as I can remember the days when we had to manually raise and lower the convertible top (usually in the pouring rain) and then manually roll up the windows. So complaints about having to electronically raise the windows (oh my!) are interesting.
...and when you did put it up manually it leaked like a sieve!

I can remember the days as well when owners used to read their manuals to find out how their cars worked :icon_naughty:

Goes Up

Mine S V8 :
Roof go down, Lock chime, window go up as long as i keep holding on the switch.
Roof go up, lock chime, window go up as long as i keep holding on the switch.

However, 2 days ago, after putting the roof up, the window did not go up. I had to pull them up using the window switch , BUT express up was not working at his point. Express down was working.

Today, the driver side express window is working while the passenger side is not. And you guessed it, if i keep holding the roof switch after the roof is up, ONLY the driver window go up automatically !!!

So, for all of you who are saying the window does not go up, i would guess you lost your express up too.

It goes up

The windows definitely go up. However, 2 days ago they stopped going up automatically, and that is when i noticed that express up has also stopped working.

Amazingly, today, the express up is working for the driver side window, and not for the passenger side. And you guessed it, after putting the roof up, or down, ONLY the driver window go up automatically...

It is no big deal, and i am sure the express up functionality will come back on its own (it will reset at some point soon), and all windows will again role up automatically after the roof is up, or down.

Reboot the system (disconnect the battery for half a minute)

Did you install the SmartTop yet? How is it? Mine was supposed to arrive yesterday, but it came with a signature required, and no one was home to receive it. Hoping it gets delivered today.

Unfortunatly it won't.
As mentioned, in the Owners manual you will find on Page 136 or thereabouts the RESET procedure. DO NOT disconnect the battery, follow this simple guide.

I have attached it to the message in case you do not have a manual.
