Thanks - better pics once the wheels are on as for some reason my picture when I picked it up gave it the fish-eye lens effect

Looks even better from that angle.
The wrap looks to be a perfect colour and gloss match for the window trims, is that correct or just the photo making it look like that?
Does the edge/border over the rear quarter stick out much or is it barely noticeable?
I'm tempted, especially as I also have the black pack, would you mind letting us know who did the job and how much it cost?
(PM is OK if you want to keep the details "secret"!)

Cheers that's OK. It was done by Gold Coast Wraps who also did my skirts 2 years ago. They charged $600 incl GST. Ultimately for decent wrap in that length I would have been paying over $250 anyway and I woiuld never have been able to do as good a job.

Gloss black wrap is a perfect match for the black pack and trims. Oddly enough, it is slightly different to the black piece at the rear of the roof (that the antenna is stuck on) which has a bit of a sparkle in it, but it isnt noticeable. You dont even know that there is an edge, it sits very tight, like a very thin sticker. What I did was take a bit of tape and run it ina line from a few inches before the end of the window then join it up to the curve of the rear window. Pretty much exactly how Dan has it in post #43. Then I told the wrap guy that was what I had in mind but he could do what he wanted.

Looks good from the front and rear too, will put up better pics when I get them.

Hi, it had crossed my mind but I'm very happy with it for the time being and will do that later if I get the urge. Looking from a distance - and as Queen and Country said - it really flattens out the roof and makes it look lower so the black mirrors would do that too. Aston did that with the dbs as well, if you look at the pics in the first post.

Bruce, it's about time to put some decent tires on the car.

BTW, great job matching the side and rear window lines: it's perfect.

They got that arch perfect.
There is some real challenging design there.
You could not pay an architect or designer $600 to figure out that line for you.
But you could have given the money directly to a massage therapist for better mileage.

I'm a generous person : I'm already happy that Bruce mentioned me in his presentation. I don't charge anything for that design...
& I am proud its well liked...
& I'm thankfull to Bruce for taking the risk and follow my design principle...
& I'm surprised & delighted that's perfect from the straight side view as well as the black now is a parallel line to the voluptous curve of the rear wing, slightly higher up the " thigh " ...

I hope it catches on !

But it all started with the wish Bruce had to adapt the AM looks to the F-Type body ; that started the brainstorming...

Fundamentally the choice was; make the roof larger by showing more black, or make the rear haunches (things) larger by showing more red.
You picked what an actual jaguar is all about. Well done.

My inspiration is not half as wild, only at heart I guess.. .. orange & white, not black & red though..

Check the curve on his rear flank..

Can’t tell for sure in photo, are they black or carbon graphite?

Hi, thank you very much for the kind words. The wheels are carbon graphite. I could have had them done in gloss black as an extra, but I didnt want to wait and I liked the look of these anyway. It is a bee's dick away from black anyway - I'd say satin black, rather than dark grey.

Dan, the wheels are an easy 25mm inside the arches, there is no chance of rubbing. See picture below, and excuse the finger but I didnt have a ruler handy. It does look like they are closer because at that point the tyres are outside of the arch on the vertical plane - they actually sit virtually flush with the arch at the very top then protrude from the rest of the arch.

Looks great! Vorsteiners are such versatile wheels, look great on everything from R8's to volkswagens. And F-types look so good with the chrome blacked out. Now debadge or black out those emblems in back!

Cheers, I have been surprised at how good the ride is on them (it has Michelins) compared to the 19"s. It isnt crashy or jolty at all, if you werent really looking for it I dont think you'd notice it to be any harder than the 19"s.

The only thing is that as soon as I saw all of that rotor I thought "you know, they really need to be slotted or cross drilled..."
