First F-Type Mods & Accessories
While at the Jaguar dealership today I ordered:
1 - Gray Union Jack Valve Stem Covers
2 - Gray Union Jack Center Wheel Hubs
3 - Jaguar car cover
4 - Carbon Fiber engine cover
5 - Jaguar windshield sun screen
6 - Jaguar F-Type gray decal*
Mods in the works
1 - Painting the brakes to match the Firesand Orange color of the car. The red calipers look good on ANY other Jaguar color but they clash with the orange so they are being painted to match
2 - Adding a slight smoke tint to the rear tail-lights since they are also red and conflict with the orange. In Nevada you can tint them black as long as the cops can see them when they light up from 200 feet away. I also have the black pack on the car so it will look better.
3 - Ordered a new leaper, F-Type badge and S badge which I am going to powdercoat gloss black to keep the orange and black theme going. Will remove the chrome pieces and save them if I sell the car some day the new owner may want them.
4 - I am having the decal copied in black (since it's only available in silver and gray) I have to have a new one made. Only way to do that is buy the gray or silver one and have the decal maker cut a new die from the old one. Again - I want to keep the black and orange theme going.
That's the first go round. Car work is never done
