Nice pictures Burt. Ok are these 15mm or 17mm spacers on your wheels? all around?

I suspect 17mm all around. And you have absolutely no rubbing or scraping? ever?
Thanks for your time and the pictures.

and the tires are 295 rear and 255 front, standard OEM tire sizes? did you have to grind/ shave studs?
Thanks

17mm all 4
Absolutely no rubbing, ever (that would be a deal breaker for me too)
OEM size yes - 295 and 255

Yes - 20" Gyrodynes had to grind, some wheels don't require grinding.

one comment that I want to add to Burts detailed write-up on grinding the studs is that you "should' screw the lug nut onto the stud BEFORE you cut/grind/etc.... just in case you touch the threads, backing the lug nut can help with any re-threading or thread correction when backing it off.

One thing I also want to ask is that you said you are 'not cutting', .you are grinding'. Are you really not just trying to lop off the non threaded end of the stud? Are you actually trying to grind vs cut?

lets try to close this list out by the end of the weekend or early next week. We have 7 total, of which 6 have a 15mm preference and 1 17mm preference.

For anyone on the list, please put whether you want them black anodized or not.

For anyone that is a new owner, it may pay to take advantage of the group buy now if you ever have aspirations to get spacers.

Stoopid question maybe, but if I ever did want to shorten the stud length, could I just cut the tips off with a hacksaw or are they too hard for that? I don't have an angle grinder.

Hardened steel. You'd wear out several hacksaw blades on every stud (if it's even possible). A small angle grinder should cost you less than AU$100.

I got mine from Lenny last year 17mm. I think with 15mm you will have to grind down the studs - I am sure this is covered in other threads. Paid $100 to ship to the UK.

wow, unhingd is an artist too.

Any comments on screwing the lugs onto the studs prior to grinding. Even if you dont get to the threads they could act as a stopping point
