I've had my 2016 F-Type R for several months now, and I absolutely love it. It's my first car like this, and I want to make sure I take care of it.

Both passenger side wheels started losing air, though, and when I had it checked out they said that the rims were bent/cracked and had been welded in the past. They said they could repair the welds, if I didn't want to replace them, which I agreed to. It seems to be fine, but it still makes me kind of nervous.

The dealership can replace them, but if there are more affordable options that are just as safe, I'd rather do that. Also, roads here are terrible and I'm considering going from 20" down to 19" to try and add some more resilience. I saw some people recommending different places to get oem wheels, and found some that seemed reasonable at a place called OriginalWheels.

Before I proceeded, though, I had some questions and hoped someone here with more experience could lend some advice:

1. Has anyone else used OriginalWheels, and are they reliable? Safe? If not, where else besides the dealership would be reliable?
2. I know the front and rear wheels are different, but can I go from 20" to 19" without any problem?
3. The two model numbers for the 19" wheels I found were T2R4751 Rear, and T2R4749 Front. Will these definitely fit my 2016 F-Type R? I saw some people talking about the ceramic breaks possibly preventing proper fits, but not sure how to better investigate that.
4. Anything else that I should know before investing in this? I obviously would need to get new tires, since I assume my current ones wouldn't fit 19" wheels.
5. Anyone had experience with welding, and how safe it is? It was done by a shop that our local racing team uses, and I've heard a lot of good things about them.

If you're changing the whole set I'd go for a set of aftermarket wheels.

Used/remanufactured wheels can be good, but you will never know what they went through before ending on your hand.

20 to 19 makes little difference.

Does your car have the ceramic brakes or not?
If it does there are only two types of OEM F-Type wheels which will fit over them, Storm and Maelstrom, both 20", both very expensive and both hard to find used.
If instead you have the steel brakes - 380 mm front and 376 mm rear standard on an F-Type R - then all of the 20" and 19" F-Type wheels will fit.
