Forged internals for 5.0 V8 AJ133?
I am new to Jaguars and just purchase a 2015 F-Type R. I have started looking but have been unable to find anyone that makes a forged crankshaft for the 5.0 V8 AJ133.
Does anyone know if someone makes a forged crankshaft for this application?
What about forged rods & pistons? (have not looked yet)
Thanks,
Jeff

I don't think it's a dumb question but when you look at the global aftermarket support for these engine and compare it to say the LS or Coyote platform you'll see that anything Jaguar is severely lacking. I highly doubt any quality crank / cam / rod maker knows about or even cares about supporting this platform.
That being said, there's a guy with an XFR running 9 second quarter miles on stock internals so I'm pretty sure this platform can handle anything you're trying to throw at it... Simply because there's only so much you can do.

I am mainly concerned with reliability. I think some forms of motorsports can put more stress on a motor than others.
What is the maximum HP that these motors can make reliably?
