VIN number , not valid (?!)

Not all decoders work with all VINs. Perhaps the one on this forum is set up for only North American market cars? I don't know.

Not all VINs are in the same language, so to speak. Euro and North American VINs follow different conventions. I believe Japan-market cars have a different VIN protocol as well.
