Description:
My name is Kevin and I'm listing my 2015 Jaguar F-Type R. Asking price is $46700 obo. We are located just outside Northern Virginia in Charles Town, WV. This is your chance to own an incredible car at a great price. It is by far the best car I've ever owned. It also gets an incredible the amount of attention when driving around (not sure if that is a pro or con). Right now it is sitting with around 42,000 miles on the odometer and I'm not driving it very much so it'll stay somewhat around that number. It's been a great car for the 3+ years that I've owned it. I purchased it with 4,700 miles on it and have been the owner since. I've tried to take good care of it during that time. The previous owner traded this car in for a new Maserati. I believe the sports car just wasn't their thing. Hard to imagine.
Exterior Color: Polaris White
Interior Color: Red Duo/Jet with Red Stitching
Options: Powered tailgate, Heated front windshield, Glass roof, Vision Pack 3, Black Pack 3, Climate pack with heated steering wheel
It is an incredibly rare car and really pains me to consider selling it but I've decided I would like to own a truck instead. It will be a very big change I know! :-) My wife and I can't really justify having 4 vehicles. 2015 is the only model year that this car was EVER imported rear-wheel drive only. Starting in 2016, all F-Type R's were all-wheel drive in the US. It really just adds to the rarity.
The good...
I have all service records up to date and in detail. All maintenance was performed on time or earlier than due (always earlier than their suggestions with the engine oil).
All the mileage on this car is highway. We don't live in the city that is close to very much so our driving distances are fairly far.
I've found it to be a surprisingly practical car to drive all year round should want to do so. My wife and I have made Costco runs in it.
Brand new rear brakes. They were recently replaced at around 40,000 miles. I can give the right number of miles if its that important. I'll have to take a look at the service record.
Early on in its life, I had the oil sent out for analysis to ensure the engine was wearing properly and I wasn't going to have any surprises down the road. Happy to say this car has a very healthy engine and will last for many years to come. After two oil changes everything checked out and I haven't found the need to continue doing so.
Cquartz Finest Ceramic paint protection, it is good to hit it with reload from time to time to restore the gloss and water beading.
Being a resident of WV I don't have front tags. As such, I have both front mounting trim pieces. One to mount a license plate, and one without (currently on the car).
The bad... I'd love to say there isn't any but there are two cosmetic imperfections on this car.
The rear bumper has two indentations on the black trim piece. This was from me backing up to my wifes car and getting too close making unfortunate contact. Luckily it hides fairly well in the location it is in. The part to fix this damage is ~$650 should you chose to fix it yourself.
There is some curb rash on 2 of the 4 wheels. I had planned on replacing the wheels with different ones but never got around to it. The other option is to have someone like wheels on site fix it. You're probably looking at ~$250-300 to get that fixed. Not too sure to be honest however.
I plan to take some interior photos and some close ups of the curb rash here shortly and edit the post.
