A very special cat for sale, a labor of love with which I sadly have to part, due to the fact that I am a new dad, and family has to come first. I recently bought a Tesla S P100D, so I cannot justify 2 very powerful, very fast 4 door sedans. It's frustrating that after battling software glitches, fixing vacuum leaks & finally rebuilding the transmission so that the Jag drives great, I have to sell it

The car was bought almost new in 2006 from Germany, so I am the second owner. It is offered for sale through Jaguar Timisoara (they are also restoring my 1968 Dodge Charger R/T, so I asked them to help), so you can fly in to Timisoara intl. Airport which is literally a mile away and drive home or, of course, help is available for transport.

Beside the KB 2.6H supercharger, the car has also had bigger injectors fitted (600cc vs 400 OEM), along with a ProM 92 MAF, especially calibrated in the USA for this car, to work with the larger injectors. TB is Maxbored to 81mm.

Exhaust is 2.5" stainless steel header-back, that includes Magnaflow sport cats (200cpi), X pipe, central resonator & mufflers.

The transmission has been rebuilt in Holland for 3100 Euros, at 200.000km it is a good idea to make sure it can handle the extra power.

Traction is aided by a Quaife ATB differential, which is mandatory at this power level. Unbelievably, from the factory these cars came with an open diff!

Cooling has the Bosch 010 water pump upgrade, to keep the chargecoolers from overheating. Every hose in the cooling system has been replaced, at this age they crack one after the other.

The car has adaptive air suspension, which many fear at this age, but it works flawlessly, with front Arnott new, not remanufactured, air springs (lifetime guarantee). Also the air compressor has been upgraded with BagpipingAndy's piston kit, which will vastly outlast OEM.

Now an interesting thing about this car is that it is, in fact, a Super V8 in short wheelbase (built only from 2003-2005). It has the supercharged engine of the XJR, but with luxury trim instead of sport, and also the softer air shocks, which many a XJR owner desires. It truly is a sleeper, when you look at it, you may say it only has 200-300hp, but in fact, it is as fast as a Lamborghini Gallardo, or Mercedes S63AMG (2017 model). 0-100km/h in high 3 second range (if you can keep the tires from frying that is), 100-200km/h in under 10s.
It has been driven, so it has the normal wear and tear & a few scratches and dings, but nothing serious, as you can see from the pictures. However it has also been very well maintained, so that you can jump in and go across Europe at any time.

I am really sad to let it go, but now that I am a dad, my wife told me to grow up and get a family sedan which is safe, quiet, and hasn't got a big engine. So that's why I bought the P100D I would really like to let the car go to a good home, to someone who appreciates what a special cat she is.
