I have a set of stock back boxes (resonators with two tips on each side) from a 2006 XKR (currently on my 2001 XKR) that I'd like to swap for original twin-tip (one on each side) back boxes. Here's how they look on the 2000-2004 cars that originally came with one exhaust tip on each side; you can see they hang a bit low, but they don't hit the bumper, and bolt up as if they were stock. My car originally came with resonator delete pipes that sound aggressive but droned like mad during cruising, so I bought these rear boxes from someone who'd upgraded the exhaust on his '06. I discovered that having one delete pipe on one side and a resonator on the other side is an excellent compromise to give it more exhaust sound while cutting out a lot of the drone. Unfortunately my delete pipes used the original single tips, so now the car has one tip on one side and two on the other, and it looks odd that way, so I'd want to swap for single-tip resonators if someone wants to trade. Would prefer an in-person trade near the Boston area; no XK8s please, as the back boxes are different from the XKRs.
