YES this car is FREE for the taking.

We have loved our 1997 XJ6L for 208000 miles. We have 3 other Jaguars and we do not want this one to just go to the junk yard to be crushed. We have kept it in very nice condition and have all service records available. Until a few days ago this was our daily driver. The car is still running right now but has the following issues that need to be addressed before putting it on the road:
1) There is an exhaust leak near the "Y" and the cats are clogged and need replacing. I think it's the secondary ones.
2) The power steering pump is failing and makes low fluid noises but the fluid is up and no leaks
3) One side of the axle is pulling out from the differential and moves about 1/2 inch back and forth. It does make noises, not grinding yet, but it would not be wise to drive it for long like this.

The paint is better than most for it's age but it is starting to check in 2 or 3 places.
This car is OX blood red with a light gray/tan interior. Seats are light grey.
The interior is VERY nice.
The radio is iffy of course. 6disk cd works. The problem is the volume knob.
The drivers side rear speaker has a broken wire. All others work.
The headliner is pinned up but looks ok.
The sun roof has the plastic piece broken on the passenger side.
Tires are almost new.
Cup holder works.
Engine runs great, Transmission is great.
No body damage.
Non smoking vehicle.
Seats are GREAT! no tears and have been under sheepskin covers for 5 years.
There are a TON of good parts on this car or if you're a mechanic and could get it for free perhaps it could be brought back. We have had it for about 5 years. We purchased it at 130k miles.

We want it to go to a good home or someone who will part it out properly.
